Look for an agent who is genuine and is trustworthily. After all, they need to have your back and understand your needs. You don't want an agent that is always a "Yes Agent." A good agent, like myself, knows your time is valuable and wants your best interest! The agent must be able to evaluate the good and bad of the property. Your agent may see things you haven't noticed or even thought off yet. They should help you analyze all options and make a confident decision.
A good agent has team members and has great resources. Such as, home inspectors, title companies, utility companies, house cleaners, home insurance, estaurants, exedra. You should feel comfortable asking them any type of questions you may encounter.
Last but not least is your budget. A good agent listens and follows your criteria. Your agent stays in your budget, and does not show you things without speaking to you first. Sometimes your criteria may be open to new and adventurous things.
